NUANCE hosts Protochips Workshop and Demo

NUANCE was excited to host Protochips, Inc. on January 28, 2020 for a free workshop and demo. Speakers Reiner Straubinger, Ph.D, Applications Scientist, and Kate Marusak, Ph.D, Marketing Applications Scientist for Protochips Inc., shared critical research in the development of greener more efficient energy sources.

Participants in this workshop observed how researchers are utilizing in situ TEM to conduct groundbreaking catalysis and battery research never before seen at the nanoscale in realistic environments.

In conjunction with the presentations, participants were also treated to live demonstrations of the Protochips Atmosphere gas cell and Poseidon electrochemistry systems on the JEOL Arm 200 currently residing in NUANCE's Electron Probe Instrumentation Center.
