Each year, NUANCE honors Women in History Month in March by recognizing female students who are sure to make a big impact on the field of studying tiny things and inviting nanoscientists to honor the woman or women who inspire (or have inspired) them to pursue their research!

Women in Microscopy Conference
Each year on March 8th, International Women's Day, NUANCE and the Microscopy Society of America's Student Council host a virtual conference, "Women In Microscopy". The conference creates space for important conversations on career challenges, diversity, and work-life balance alongside research presentations on materials science, biology, and environmental sciences.
