Dr. Dan Zhou & Prof. Jinsong Wu offer Joint Seminar

NUANCE Center welcomed Dr. Dan Zhou from the Dept. of Materials Science at Leibniz Institute for Crystal Growth in Berlin, Germany and Professor Jinsong Wu, from the Nanostructure Research Center at Wuhan University of Technology in Wuhan, China for a joint seminar on Friday July 26.

Dr. Zhou’s talk In Situ TEM: A Unified Perspective from Industry and Academia and Prof. Wu’s presentation: In Situ S/TEM investigations of domain and phase Transitions in Polarized CU2SE/Ag2Se were very informative and offered interesting perspectives on how they have overcome challenges in their investigative research and how to effectively apply their findings. We were very happy to host our visitors for the day on their way to this year’s Microscopy and Microanalysis conference!
