Beautiful Day for a 5K!

NUANCE was once again excited to sponsor and participate in this year’s MSSA 5K on May 11, 2024 - a bright and sunny Saturday morning on the lake!

MSSA is the Materials Science Student Association (MSSA) - a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the goal of improving STEM education in historically marginalized communities both locally and nationally.

In the past, the race has raised over $2000 for the Pedersen-McCormick Boys and Girls Club (to fund science outreach between materials science graduate students and elementary school students) and Letters to a Prescientist (a national organization that connects underserved middle school students to STEM professionals as mentors via a pen pal program).
