MediaTek Tours NUFAB & NUANCE

On Friday, April 26, 2024, NUANCE along with our NUFAB Facility, was excited to host MediaTek representatives Dr. Chih-Ming Hung who leads the Strategic Technology Exploration Platform of MediaTek and Gary Chiu who works in the Strategic Technology Exploration Platform (STEP) of MediaTek, USA. Also joining the tour was the Deputy Director of theTaipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago, Daniel Huang.

MediaTek is a company based in Taiwan which designs, develops, and markets system-on-chip (SoC) solutions for digital home, optical storage disks, wireless communication devices, and analog products.

NUFAB Facility Manager Nasir Basit sat down with our guests and discussed operating a cleanroom within the University environment and answered questions. The tour then visited NUANCE's facility in the AB wing of the Technological Institute, where Keck-II facility manager Xinqi Chen, showed the visitors the TOF-SIMS and other instruments.
