NUANCE Fest 2023!

This year’s celebration of National Nano Day was the best way to start off the week along with our 166 attendees. NUANCE Fest took place on 10/9/23 and featured self-guided tours, raffles, games, and food! The newest activity to join the NUANCE Fest celebrations was a lab scavenger hunt. Guests hunted for ducks on their tours and took selfies to prove they found all 7 of them (plus several bonus ducks) to win a special prize.  

Last year’s winner was featured again as a puzzle to complete along with our custom NUANCE instrument card game. All these activities led to another raffle for some NUANCE swag before the big reveal for our annual image contest winners! 

Vinayak opened the event with noting that this year had the most entries of any of the image contests prior at an impressive 58 unique entries. The winners who were present came up to the mic to give us more details on their incredible images and how they created them.
