NUANCE: Nanoscale Characterization Experimental Center

Career Day for Girls!

On Saturday February 26th, NUANCE was thrilled to take part in this year's Career Day for Girls! Organized by the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science, this annual event provides an opportunity for female identified students in grades 6th-12th to come to campus and learn more about engineering and science disciplines.

Last year, due to COVID restrictions, the event was held online, so we were very excited to return to an in-person tour, showing the participants our instruments and allowing them to get a feel for the diverse applications that our instruments can perform.

With a total of ~16 students participating, and our tour guides extraordinaire, it was an inspirational way to spend a cold Saturday in February!
