Student Tours are Back!

When Professor Katherine Gesmundo, PhD, Assistant Professor of Instruction and Co-Director of General Chemistry Labs at Northwestern’s Department of Chemistry reached out to the NUANCE Center about organizing a tour for her first year undergraduate students, we were thrilled! Professor Gesmundo’s seminar, entitled “What’s so special about Nanomaterials?”, almost seems tailor made for our facilities capabilities! As a result, Tuesday morning October 12, 2021 Elizabeth King, our SEM Assistant Lab Manager met Professor Gesmundo’s entire Freshmen seminar class and gave them a tour of the NUANCE Center Facilities. It is always a pleasure to be able to meet with (and hopefully inspire!) students who are engaged and excited to learn about the instrumentation and tools used to study nanomaterial!
