Cathodoluminescent for the Study of Semiconductor Structure and Defects

On June 13, 2019, Dr. Steve M. Barnett visited Northwestern to introduce the Attolight approach to Cathodoluminescent. He presented examples and demonstrated the methods used by Attolight to probe optical properties at the nanoscale for a range of semiconductor materials.

In 2009, Steve formed Barnett Technical Services to provide consulting services where he works with a range of organizations in the application of optical methods for materials characterization. He currently acts as an Authorized Representative for Attolight with responsibility for working with their customers in North America.
