Nancy W. Rizzo is a specialist in electron microscopy and has been utilizing Leica’s workflows for more than 30 years. She has worked at several centralized core EM facilities including Cornell University, The National Institutes of Health, DuPont and DuPont Pioneer. She has developed techniques for room temperature and cryo SEM and TEM and has taught the multiple courses in Electron Microscopy
Louise Bertrand joined Leica in 2008 as Product Specialist Confocal. A year later Louise added the widefield systems; microscopes, cameras, software. She kept interfacing with customers, sales, applications specialists and field service engineers to deeply understand and provide extensive application and product support. In 2012, Louise switched and took over the Digital Pathology. In 2014 she started to take over the stereomicroscope lines following by Laser microdissection and today, all the widefield products portfolio including CryoCLEM. Before joining Leica, Louise was Instructor at the Department of Neurobiology & Anatomy at Drexel University where she taught Medical Neuroscience, managed a core facility and did research on brain mapping.
