Dr. Jinsong Wu Presents In Situ TEM Research at Conference in Huzhou, China

Dr. Jinsong Wu, TEM Manager at NUANCE’s EPIC facility, attended the 9th International Conference on Advanced Lithium Batteries for Automobile Application (ABAA-9) in Huzhou, China in October, 2016.

Dr. Wu displayed two posters on recent developments in In Situ TEM technology and its application in both lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries.

Academics as well as representatives of the battery industry presented at the conference, introducing the latest research and development in advanced lithium batteries with a focus on automotive applications.

Dr. Wu met many current and potential collaborators at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL), such as Drs. Michael Thackeray, Khalil Amine, Zhonghe Zai, and Jun Lu, etc., and explored opportunities to bring more of ANL’s research in the field of batteries to EPIC, especially the in-situ TEM facilities.

In addition, Dr. Wu spoke with many researchers and professors from around the world to explore possibilities for international collaboration in the future.
