Personal Statement
I received my PhD degree in physics in 2012 at Bilkent University, Turkey. During my PhD work, I studied the electrical and optical properties of III-nitrite based semiconductors, UV plasmonics and device integration, and Graphene-based RF field effect devices. I also designed and fabricated nano-structured substrates for bio-sensing and Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy.
Research Objectives and Approach
My research interests span a diverse spectrum, with a primary focus on the fabrication of micro/nano structures using e-beam and photo-lithography. These structures find applications across various fields, ranging from semiconductor electronics to bio-implantable devices. Additionally, my work explores novel optical phenomena, with particular emphasis on plasmonic and metamaterials.
- E-Beam Lithography
- Photolithograpy: Laser Direct Writing, Conventional contact lithography
- Microfabrication via laser ablation
- Atomic Layer Deposition, E-Beam Evaporation
