NUANCE Hosts Seminar on Fast and Accessible Electron Ptychography

The NUANCE Center hosted a seminar on October 7, 2026, featuring Dr. Chia-Hao Lee, an Eric and Wendy Schmidt AI for Science Postdoctoral Fellow at Cornell University.
Titled “Fast and Accessible Electron Ptychography for Materials and Life Sciences,” the seminar explored electron ptychography and its potential applications in materials research and the life sciences. The technique offers new possibilities for nanoscale imaging and materials characterization.
The seminar took place in Cook Hall on Northwestern University’s Evanston campus and brought together attendees interested in emerging imaging techniques and their applications across scientific disciplines.
