MSSA 5K Run & Walk!

Last Saturday May 14th presented a beautiful day along the lakefront of Northwestern’s Evanston campus and the perfect weather to hold the Materials Science Student Association’s annual 5K walk & run! Hosted by the MSSA, this annual event is a fundraiser benefiting the Pedersen-McCormick Boys & Girls Club of Chicago and Letters to a Pre-scientist; this year there were close 100 people participating with a great showing from the NUANCE Center and VPD group! Held “virtually” last year, it was refreshing to be able to come together in-person and run/walk for a great cause!
