NUANCE Hosts Joint Webinar with GATAN
On December 9, 2020, NUANCE Center together with GATAN Inc./Ametek, hosted a wonderful webinar on 4D STEM that was received by over 500 participants in 45 different countries around the world!
After a lovely introduction by Professor Vinayak Dravid, the webinar kicked off with a live demonstration on the JEOL Grand ARM 300F conducted by NUANCE's Roberto dos Reis, PhD, while simultaneously data was collected using Gatan OneView and K3 IS detectors.
Anahita Pakzad, PhD from Gatan offered an informative session on data processing using Digital Micrograph. Doctoral student Stephanie Ribet along with Roberto dos Reis, rounded out the sessions with their presentation on how to use Python to process 4D STEM data. The seminar concluded with in-depth, real time questions and discussion.
Although we miss being in each other's company to explore ideas and share research methods, it is amazing to be able to reach out and collaborate with interested parties on a global level!
A big thank you to all the presenters for the work you put into making this workshop go so smoothly, and a big thank you to all the participants who joined in!
