NUFAB users get hands-on ellipsometry practice

NUFAB hosted a day-long workshop on ellipsometry techniques on Friday, August 23.
Dr. Jianing Sun, from the J.A. Woollam Co. based in Lincoln, Nebraska, came to campus to lecture and administer two hands-on practice sessions for modeling data from various types of materials including metal and absorbing films.
The event took place in Mudd Library room 2210. Participants also enjoyed breakfast and lunch from Northwestern’s catering department, thanks to support from MRSEC.
