NUANCE Demos SEM for Summer Technology & Engineering Middle School Group

On Thursday, June 20, 2019, NUANCE was proud to be part of a lab tour organized by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and the McCormick School of Engineering's STEP Program. The STEP Program is the Summer Technology & Engineering Program which caters to 6-9th grade girls.
As part of their lab tours, NUANCE's SEM Imaging Specialist Tirzah Abbott provided a demo on the Hitachi S-3400 SEM. The demo involved viewing human hair, a penny and other objects!
