NUANCE Center Welcomes Visitors from Thailand
On Thursday, August 9th, the NUANCE Center hosted visitors from Assumption University in Bangkok, Thailand for a tour of its facilities in Cook Hall and the Tech Building. The group was composed of students and professors from a variety of different fields of study, and were led by VPD Group member Akshay Murthy, who enjoyed having the opportunity to lead the tour.
"I really enjoyed giving a tour of the NUANCE facilities to our visitors from Thailand. I hope they left with a sense of the exciting nanotechnology research being conducted here on campus," Murthy explained. "These outreach events organized by NUANCE are especially useful as they help foster ties between individuals and institutions across the globe by effectively broadcasting the capabilities and scientific advances made at Northwestern University."
The NUANCE Center always appreciates the opportunity to have international visitors come to its facilities, as such tours allow the Center to showcase the knowledge and expertise of its staff and to present the opportunity for building relationships with other institutions.
