High Performance Bioscope Resolve Life Science Imaging System available for use
On May 25, SHyNE Resource had their second Spotlight event, featuring the High Performance Bioscope Resolve Life Science Imaging System. This instrument replaced the existing Bioscope Catalyst system.
The Resolve allows researchers in biosciences to visualize and measure native biological structures at extremely high resolution. The High Performance Bioscope Resolve Life Science Imaging System enables users to increase the power of their research by complimenting Contrast Enhancing techniques and Fluorescence microscopy techniques.
It also visualizes and measures native biological structures and can be used as an ultrasensitive force sensor capable of detecting single ligand-receptor unbinding events.
Key features include the closed-loop, “sample scanning” design wherein the AFM probe moves in the Z axis and the sample is scanned in the X and Y axis. Also, the temperature controls up to 40 degrees Celsius while imaging and up to 60 degrees Celsius for sample processing. Lastly, it is compatible with microscope slides, cover slips, plastic petri dishes and glass bottom petri dishes.
