"Take Our Daughters & Sons to Work" Day at NUANCE!
The 21st annual "Take Our Daughters & Sons to Work" Day at Northwestern University was held on Thursday, April 23, 2015. Established by the Ms. Foundation and now carried out by the Take Our Daughters & Sons to Work Day Foundation, this nationally recognized program helps 8-to-16 year-old children focus on the numerous career options open to them. This event was sponsored by the Northwestern University Office of the President, ANUW - Association of Northwestern University Women, Office of Human Resources, and The Women's Center.
Eric Miller, Dr. Jinsong Wu, and Dr. Fengyuan Shi showed kids some fun samples on our microscopes, explained to them the science that we do, and answered any questions they might have!
