NUANCE Receives Two Instrument Awards
The NUANCE Center's Dr. Jinsong Wu and Dr. Reiner Bleher, along with Center Director Professor Vinayak Dravid, were awarded funds from the Office of Research for the purchase of a FIBS/STEM Compatible Rotation Specimen Holder (Hitachi) for 3D tomography, and a Leica Glass Knifemaker (Mager) for cutting samples for electron microscopy. Proposals were submitted in Spring 2012 and reviewed by a rotating committee consisting of directors and managers of core facilities and research deans (or their delegates) from WCAS, McCormick and FSM.
